I am an authorized dealer for the most reputable and reliable manufactures in the USA. This includes but is not limited to American Steel Carports, Enterprise Steel Carports, and Interstate Steel Structures.
The majority of our installations are completed in 2-4 weeks! However, some areas may take up to 8-12 weeks depending on factors such as state, weather, and work load. Lead times change seasonally. Please contact your state representative for an accurate lead time.
All buildings are constructed from 100% galvanized steel and are built to last! The frames are 2 ½ inch square tubing for standard 14-gauge, and 2 ¼ inch square tubing for the upgraded 12-gauge construction. The panels are standard 29-guage with the option of upgrading to 26-gauge.
The physical dimensions (width, length, and height) of your structure, any wind or snow loads imposed by your county or city, and the installation surface are required to provide you with an accurate quote
From small carports to large commercial buildings, we supply any size that you require.
There are two dimensions used when describing the length of the structure, they are the frame length and roof length. There is a 6 inch over hang on both ends of the roof making a building with exterior wall dimensions of 12 W x 20 L have a roof that is 12 W and 21 L.
Both A-Frame Horizontal & A-Frame Vertical roofs have approximately a 3/12 pitch. Standard Roofs have approximately2.5/12 Pitch. The exact pitch varies with the type of roof (Standard, A-Frame Horizontal, And A-Frame Vertical), and the physical dimensions. A custom pitch can be built upon request for an additional cost. Peak height varies with the roof pitch and the width of the building, but is usually 2-3 feet higher than the leg height.
Generally, leg height can go up to 16’. However, some states do allow 18’ -20' legs.
Structures over 31’ roof length require a seam along the roof for both Standard and A-Frame Horizontal styles. The A-Frame Vertical is highly recommended because it does not require a seam and can avoid potential leaks and maintenance later on.
Certified buildings are constructed following plans from a Certified Engineer that will meet all local building codes for your specific building and will be installed on proper footings that the Engineer calls for.
It is solely the customer’s responsibility to both ensure whether or not plans are required, and to obtain them. This can be determined by contacting your local county and/or city building department.
No. We offer mobile home anchors at an additional cost to secure a unit being installed on dirt, gravel or asphalt on structures up to 30' wide. All structures over 30' wide will require concrete footings or full slab/footings to bolt the unit down.
We measure our units using the roof dimensions. Therefore, if your building is 12' x 21' the footprint is a 12' x 20' exterior wall to wall. This means you will need to pour a foundation with a minimum size of 12’6” x 20’6”. This will provide the crew installing to anchor the building down correctly and secure building without damaging the concrete pad.
Yes. In most locations, we will drop off the unit and issue a discounted rate on your order. Generic installation instructions are available to help you through the installation process.
Please Note: All Warranties are voided if doing a self-install
Yes, you can. There is a Return Trip fee that will be applied on any additions less than $1,000. The existing unit must have been purchased through America's Elite Garages and Carports. If the building was not, the frame work and panels will not line up correctly.
America's Elite does not give refunds on deposits after 7 days. You are provided with a three-day right to cancel under the "Home Solicitation Sales Act" with your contract for a full refund. Within the 7 day grace period all deposits will be refunded except for a transaction and processing fee of $50 or 25% of the deposit amount, whichever is greater.
